Galta

Bring Galta to your browser.

Start with the canvas. Connect an agent whenever you want.

  1. Add the browser extension

For Chrome 141 or later and Dia on your Mac. The canvas, drawing, Collection and version history work without an account or an agent.

The public extension is being prepared. Installation will be available here once the Chrome Web Store listing is live.

After installation, open a web page and click Galta in your browser’s extensions menu. Pin it for easy access. Hover over an image and click Galta’s mark to keep it, then drag it from Collection onto the canvas.

  2. Connect your Mac

The Mac app connects Galta to agents and generation services. It is optional for drawing and collecting references.

    Download Galta for Mac

    Version 0.1.1 · Apple silicon · macOS 15.0 or later · 174 MB

Open the disk image, drag Galta into Applications, then open it from Applications. Choose Connect browser and the browser where you installed the extension.

  3. Make something

Open Settings on the canvas. Choose Chat in Galta to sign in to your Codex account, or Work in Codex or Claude Code to connect an external agent. These are separate, optional choices.

Put a few references on the canvas and ask: “Arrange these into two groups and name each group.” The agent works on the canvas; you can inspect the result and return to an earlier version in Time Machine.

For generated images, video or audio, connect your own provider under Generation in Settings. The provider bills you directly. Signing in to your Aha Labs account is optional and does not connect an AI service.

Moving from an early development version or another browser? Export and check your canvases before removing the old installation.
