Acceptable Use Policy

The content and safety rules for Galta and its connected AI workflows.

Last updated: October 27, 2026.

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of Galta’s Terms of Service. It applies to Galta’s website, browser extension, local Mac runtime and connected agent or generation workflows.

Prohibited content and activity

You must not use Galta to generate, request, upload, store or share content that:

You must not use Galta to evade a connected provider’s safety controls, test safeguards for abuse, or interfere with Galta or another service.

How safety is handled

Galta is local-first and does not continuously crawl or inspect private canvases in the background. When you send a prompt or reference media to a connected generation provider, that provider’s pre-generation safety controls and terms apply. A provider may refuse a request; Galta does not bypass or silently replace that decision.

For activity reported to Galta or observed in a Galta-operated service, we use a layered review process: automated checks where they are available, human review of the report and relevant context, and proportionate action. We may remove or restrict content, suspend or restrict access, preserve limited evidence needed to investigate, or refer a matter to the connected provider or a competent authority. We do not claim that every locally stored canvas item is pre-screened.

Reporting and response times

Report suspected abuse to hello@galta.art with the relevant page or canvas context, a description of the concern and any available evidence. Do not send passwords, payment details, identity documents or other sensitive information.

We protect a reporter’s identity except where disclosure is reasonably necessary to investigate or comply with law. We may request additional context when needed.

Enforcement and changes

We may take action without prior notice when reasonably necessary to address safety, abuse, security or legal risk. We may update this policy as Galta’s services and connected providers change, and will update this page’s date when we do.
